Terms and Conditions


Payment

We can accept payment by Paypal. In the case of Paypal echeques, we may need to wait for the payment to clear before we can send your items. Please note that UK Paypal echeques can take up to 11 working days to clear.

If you live outside the UK, we can only accept payment by Paypal in GBP pounds (). Paypal will convert your currency into GBP pounds automatically when you make your payment.

We are sorry, but due to the terms of our insurance, WE CANNOT ACCEPT ORDERS FROM THE USA OR CANADA

Postage
We will normally post your items as soon as we can after we have received your cleared payment. This is usually within 2 working days. If we are particularly busy, we may take an extra day.

Orders sent to UK addresses will be sent via the Royal Mail by Second Class post. Orders sent to addresses outside the UK will be sent by Royal Mail Airmail.

Estimated Delivery Times - Royal Mail aims to deliver within these times, but they do NOT guarantee it

1) UK - 2-3 working days

2) Western Europe - 3 working days

3) Eastern Europe - 5 working days

4) Other Countries - 7 working days

Customs Charges
Customers ordering from abroad (non-EC) are responsible for any customs/duty charges that may be incurred

Non-Delivery
If you have not received your items within 12 working days of ordering, then please contact us immediately and we will look into it

Refunds
If your item is damaged, wrongly described or the wrong item has been sent, please e-mail to let us know as soon as you can and we'll make sure we sort it out for you as quickly as possible.

We ask our customers to check their goods before making them up into jewellery.

1) In the unlikely event that we have made a mistake on your order eg the wrong item/quantity has been sent, then please let us know as soon as you can and we will sort it out for you.

2) Our website operates in accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us at Raven Avenue (Marquise Jewels), Swift House Business Centre, 16 High Street, Staveley, S43 3UX, United Kingdom / sales@ravenavenue.co.uk ) of a decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (eg a letter sent by post, fax or email). The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. You may use the attached model cancellation form, but this is not obligatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the re-imbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is as a result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the re-imbursement without undue delay and not later than-
a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day that you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about this decision to cancel this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event, not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary, to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.


Our Products
Many of our products are natural in origin eg cabochons and semi-precious stone beads and will consequently show some variation in colour and/or pattern. They are photographed using daylight balanced neutral bulbs and every effort is made to ensure that our photographs are representative of the items listed, but they are subect to photographic limitations. All sizes are approximate.

Safety
Due to their small size, our products are unsuitable for children under 36 months. None of our products are sold as toys. Our products conform to current EC nickel content regulations where relevant.
